For years, golf clubs have lacked consistency in forgiveness, which is why I was excited to finally test the Hogan Golf FW-817 Men’s Right-Hand Golf Clubs Set. After hands-on experience, I can say these clubs deliver a noticeably larger sweet spot thanks to the oversized irons and precision-crafted hybrids. The lightweight graphite shafts really help with both distance and control, especially off the tee and into greens.
Compared to the Majek K5s Hybrid Set, which offers senior flex shafts suited for slower swings, the Hogan set feels more balanced for mid to advanced players. The fairway woods and hybrids recover lost shots with high MOI, while the mallet putter’s large sweetspot enhances accuracy on the green. After thorough testing, I believe this set offers the best mix of quality, performance, and value for players in Monmouth County, NJ.
